Paul Wilkinson BSc SRD MPhil Paul has worked as a State Registered Dietitian in both NHS and research based settings. His work in the NHS specialised in Cardiology & Diabetes and his research work in nutrition & cardiovascular disease. From 1998 - 2002 he worked towards his PhD as a reserach dietitian at the University of Surrey's Centre for Nutrition. There he studied the effects of short chain omega-3 fatty acids on cardiovascular disease risk factors in men. The results are currently under analysis. Paul has commented in the media on a number of issues relating to heart disease and diet and has taught at undergraduate and post-graduate levels. |
